Anthropocentrism

One of the topics we turn anyplace covered this semester in class is on Anthropocentrism. According to the Keller book, pg 59, Anthropocentrism is a worldview which places humans, figuratively if non literally at the center of the cosmos. Humans are on a borderline between the supernatural and the natural, just below paragon and angels. Then everything else follows it such as animals, plants, microorganisms and matter. This is an important issue in this class beca manipulation this is an issue we deal with everyday. Who says who has world power on priming? Who made human beings in land? Just simple questions like that that seem to not extradite a definitive answer.
In the bible, Genesis 1:26 says Then God said, Let us make valet in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the lean in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the stemma and all the wild animals,[a] and over all the creatures that move on the ground. He continues on in 1:28, God mirthful them and said to them, Be fruitful and increase in enactment; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground. By reading this, youd believe record was made for mans gain ground and to rule nature.

I feel like theres a reason we have so many species of animals and plants, and not just for our eating benefit.
I feel that the lecture and the book gave both views of anthropocentrism. It introduced us as to what it was and then guided us through where it derived from and how it came to be.
If therefore nature makes nothing without purpose or in vain,...If you want to chafe a full essay, order it on our website: Ordercustompaper.com
