Family is mavin of the nearly important alliances that a person will ever capture in their lifetime. Though there are some sight who do not thread along with their families because of personal reasons, ultimately, your family is the one thing that stays constant throughout your lifetime. I am not my induces biological daughter. In the Philippines, cosmos adoptive is seen as a sort of disgrace, because you are not of the blood of the family that take you. This fact has always been a jailbreak in the relationship between my mother and me.
My mother adopted me, well, rather, rescued me, from a backwater maternity clinic in Dagupan City, Philippines. My biological mother left me, as a baby, in that maternity clinic without anything debar a note explaining why she left me there. I stayed in that clinic for over five weeks until the doctor contacted my mothers friend, petition her if she wanted to adopt a baby girl. My moms friend was not equal to so she recommended my mom and my dada to come down to Dagupan to see me. It was a seven arcminute drive with no paved roads and no lights in the province, but if it had not been for that drive, she would never have adopted me.




The supposition of adoption was brought to my attention when I was only 7 years old. Like every other Filipino tiddler, I purview that my mother was going to give me away because I was adopted and she wanted a real child a child of her own. Also, I thought that I would never be able to eat her pound cake ever again, which caused me great discommode at the time. My mother reassured me, however, that she loved me as if I were her real child.
This was a constant problem in my relationship with my mother. Because I knew that I was adopted, I never truly felt up like I belonged within my family circle. I have the darkest skin tone out of all my relatives.
