Frito-Lay and Nestlé The Attempt to Achieve a Healthy Customer
Two companies know for their junk fare and snacks that attract children and junk nourishment addicts argon now working to clean up their companies and create foods that leave attract fitter customers along with promote a better snack food. Both companies are traded publicly, although Frito-Lay is traded under its parent conjunction PepsiCo. Both companies have a website which gives their customer base an pickaxe to learn more about the products they sell and ways to progress to a healthier life.
Nutrition, Health and Wellness is Nestlés strategic direction. They want their customers to be able to bemuse healthy choices about foods and beverages. Nestlé also entrusts that a good food sometimes means the customer must treat themselves (Nestle Corporation, 2012).
Frito-Lay has stupefy committed to health and wellness and sustainability of its customers and continues to be committed. Frito-Lay demonstrates this commitment by its extensive offerings and through the positive steps they have interpreted to help change the way America snacks. Customers want and foreknow Frito-Lay to have a great tasting, convenient, high-quality product that meets a phase of snacking needs, and Frito-Lay is committed to meeting that challenge (Frito-Lay North America, Inc., 2012).




I believe this topic will be interesting because America is a snack food loving country. We have snack food vending machines everywhere and commercials that capture the interest of all cover beautiful models eating junk food. There are crimson commercials that have candy and chocolate characters interacting with humans that make turn on of the impact chocolate and candy would have on an individuals diet. It will be interesting to see how these both large corporations will push new products, activities and resources for a healthier customer.
