Scenario 1

The confabulation argumentation that the Marketing Manager will use to bring with his or her team should be one of high affluence that can simultaneously communicate with multiple people. The direction of this confabulation is downward, unless the team is a management team. In that case, the talk channel would be lateral. Since this discourse requires high richness to multiple people, the discourse channel should be introduce to face.
This communication channel is the outgo choice for this scenario because channel richness needs to be as high as possible. Richness is a measurement of the tote up of information per communication episode (Stephen p. Robbins, 2011). Routine communication requires low gear richness, and non-routine communication requires high richness (Stephen p. Robbins, 2011). Routine communication is truthful and non-ambiguous. Non-routine communication is the transfer of complicated or easily be amiss information. This communication is non-routine because this is a brand new idea. This is the best communication channel because it has the highest richness.




Communication from the manager to the frailty President is upward. This communication is not routine because it is relaying a complicated message; however, this is not as non-routine as the communication between the manager and the team. The Vice President is expecting this communication, so it has a lower chance of organism misunderstood. Since this communication is not easily misunderstood, a medium-high richness communication channel such as a telephone or video conference is suitable. This is the best choice because managers and vice presidents argon very busy and should only take face to face meetings when necessary (Stephen p. Robbins, 2011).
