Steven Jobs was born February 24, 1955, in San Francisco, California, and was adopted by capital of Minnesota and Clara Jobs. He grew up with one sister, Patty. Paul Jobs was a grease monkey and fixed cars as a hobby. In 1961 the family moved to great deal View, California. This area, just south of Palo Alto, California, was becoming a center for electronics. At that time people started to refer to the area as te Valley. This is because a substance called silicon is used in the manufacturing of electronic tells.
As a child, Jobs preferred doing things by himself. He swam competitively, that was not interested in team sports or some other group activities. He showed an early interest in electronics and gadgetry. He spent a lot of time working in the garage workshop of a neighbor who worked at Hewlett-Packard, an electronics manufacturer. Jobs alike enrolled in the Hewlett-Packard Explorer Club. There he saw engineers express new products, and he saw his first computer at the age of twelve. He was very impressed, and knew right away that he commanded to work with computers.
Jobs had realized there was a colossal gap in the computer market. At that time to the highest degree all computers were mainframes. They were so large that one could fill a room, and so costly that individuals could not afford to buy them.

Advances in electronics, however, meant that computer components were getting smaller and the power of the computer was increasing.
On April Fools Day in 1976, Wozniak, Jobs and Jobs former Atari colleague Ron Wayne signed text file forming orchard apple tree Computer (the name plucked in part from the fruit in the valleys remaining orchards). Wayne resigned 12 days later because he decided the financial hazard was too great. Jobs scavenged for parts and hounded Woz to finish the Apple I and thusly the Apple II, which Wozniak single-handedly designed. It ignited the personal-computer revolution in 1977.
