The Vietnam struggle was a place in history of brutal killings and policy-making shamble. The whole war was fought over a political crisis soon enough America won e very battle, but not the war. quadruple American voices are heard in the Toll of War and their voices lay out a timeline of gruesome events and the reality of the Vietnam War. From existence forced into fighting for economic reasons to having no choice but to join the war, the four voices show us what it was really uniform for soldiers on the field.

Donald L. Whitfield was a southern Alabama boy who grew up a confederate and worked on cars for a living. Donald had a very strong sense of Americanism and that any American soldier could have words their ass meaning Americans would kill any other soul fighting against them.1 Whitfields experience in the war was clam up up battle and a constant worrying intimately having to kill someone or be killed. I bring forward his constant fear and willingness to live made him think he was a badass and killed anyone with no regret or mercy. Donald did not diversity because of the war, he still felt betrayed by his government and wants the American Congress to apologize for the Vietnam veterans.
