Law comes from three main solutions, the first source is the Houses of Parliment this is broken down in to two houses, The House of Lords, which makes laws, and to a fault holds the Government to account, as it is not an elected House it is has no alejanc to any policitial party, thitherfore deemed as impartial. The second source of law is subordinate legislation, where the Government gives powers for someone else to make Laws, ie Local Council etc, and finally EU Law this is the most recent source of law, The UK cannot pass a law that conflicts with an EU Law.

Their are two types of disputes, one being Criminal cases and the other being Civil cases. The distinction between criminal and civil disputes, is a criminal dispute is were the defendent has allegedly commited a crime against society, this demeanour is against the law and if found hangdog punishable by miscellaneous means either a prison sentence of by a community order.

Civil disputes are usually between indivduals or companies who require redress as there rights scram been broken, normally brought by a claimant.
